Clarity Sessions · Goldenseal X Oparos
(Coming in June 2026!) Disruption doesn't just create risk. It creates openings. In this session, you'll learn the difference between traditional strategic thinking and the foresight mindset that lets you spot opportunities before your competitors do.

Lisa Churchill approaches resilience the way she spent years studying mass extinctions — by asking what the system was doing before the collapse event that either protected it or made it vulnerable. Joanne Eriaku approaches disruption as a futurist — mapping the shape and complexity of what's arriving before it hits. Together they bring something rare: the deep systems science that explains why some businesses survive disruption, and the forward-looking pattern recognition that shows what's coming next. Both are small business owners. Both have spent their careers translating complex intelligence into practical decisions for real organizations. This workshop is co-led throughout.

Goldenseal Resilience
Co-Lead Facilitator
Lisa is the founder and CEO of Goldenseal Resilience. A paleontologist-turned-resilience strategist, she spent 30 years consulting for some of the world's most complex institutions, including public and private entities such as the World Bank and United Nations. As a small business owner herself, she brings both the technical framework and the lived experience of navigating disruption firsthand.

Oparos Consulting
Co-Lead Facilitator
Joanne Eriaku is the Founder and Thrive Architect of Oparos, a future readiness practice. A seasoned expert in strategic foresight and business transformation, she brings over 14 years of experience helping organizations navigate significant shifts driven by exponential technologies. Her frameworks — Thrivability, The Convergence, and Solvation — equip executives and boards to move through structural disruption with clarity. She is the one you call when you need to make the future make sense.
Do I need to attend Workshop 1 first?
No. This workshop stands on its own and is ideal for anyone navigating change in their business. That said, participants who attend both Clarity Sessions leave with two complementary work products: the AI Readiness Scorecard (a diagnostic of where you stand) and the Disruption Response Canvas (a strategic response across a broader range of disruptions).
Do I need to complete my Goldenseal reports before attending?
Yes. You'll need to have completed your Resilience Snapshot and Inside View reports before the session. Both are available on our website and take about 10 minutes total. The canvas builds on the sector intelligence and self-awareness these reports create, so arriving with that foundation will make the working session much more productive.
What if I don't know what disruption forces are hitting my business?
That's exactly what the first half of the session addresses. Lisa walks through disruption forces across small business sectors using Goldenseal's Horizon Scan intelligence, and you'll identify the ones most relevant to you in real time. You don't need to arrive with a pre-built list.
Will there be breakout coaching?
Yes. During the Canvas Working Session, Joanne and Lisa rotate through breakout rooms to provide 1-on-1 coaching as you complete your canvas. This is why we limit group size.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, your completed Goldenseal reports, and a willingness to engage. All materials are provided digitally during the session. A second screen or printed canvas can be helpful but isn't required.
What happens after the workshop?
You'll receive a follow-up email with your digital canvas and information about the four-part Finding Opportunities in Disruption series for participants ready to go deeper.
Ready to go deeper?
Your canvas is a starting point. The four-part series led by Lisa Churchill builds on it: map your sector's full opportunity landscape, pressure-test your best bets, and build a prioritized action plan with built-in accountability milestones.
